Who operates mConnected

mConnected is operated by Monoprix Consulting Agency Nigeria Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission under number RC 1397641.

mConnected is a marketplace, not the provider

mConnected is a platform that introduces customers to independent service providers and handles booking and payment. We are not the provider of the services offered on the platform, we do not perform the work, and we are not a party to the agreement for the work between a customer and a provider.

The contract for any service is made directly between the customer and the provider. Our role is to make that introduction, hold the payment while the job is carried out, and give both sides tools to manage it.

Providers are independent

Service providers on the platform are independent and self-employed. They are not employees, agents, partners or representatives of mConnected, and nothing on the platform creates such a relationship.

• Providers are responsible for their own work, tools, conduct and safety
• Providers are responsible for holding any licence, permit or insurance the law requires for their trade
• Providers are responsible for their own taxes and statutory obligations

Verification is a check, not a guarantee

We verify the identity of providers to a reasonable standard before they appear on the platform, and we show ratings and reviews left by other customers. This reduces risk — it does not remove it.

We do not guarantee the skill, quality, punctuality, honesty or outcome of any provider's work. Ratings and reviews are the personal opinions of the people who left them, not statements by mConnected.

Scope and time are what you agreed

Every booking is for a defined service, at an agreed price, for the time window the customer selected. The customer confirms this before the request is sent.

Work outside that agreed scope, or time beyond the booked window, is a separate arrangement the customer and provider must agree — and pay for — on its own. mConnected is not responsible for informal side-agreements made off the platform.

Your responsibilities as a customer

• Describe the job clearly and agree the scope and time before you book
• Give the provider safe access and a safe place to work
• Supervise the work where that is sensible, and keep valuables secure
• Check the work is what you asked for before you approve or release payment
• Raise any problem through the platform's dispute process, promptly

Information on mConnected — including category descriptions, guidance and provider profiles — is general information only. It is not professional advice (legal, financial, medical, engineering or otherwise), and you should not rely on it as such.

Payments and your wallet

The mConnected wallet and the way we hold a booking's payment until the job is done are payment-facilitation features that make bookings safer. They are not a bank account, a deposit-taking service, or an investment, and no interest is paid on a balance.

Availability of the platform

mConnected is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep it running and secure, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, mConnected and Monoprix Consulting Agency Nigeria Ltd (RC 1397641) are not liable for the acts or omissions of any provider or customer, for the quality, safety or outcome of any service booked through the platform, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Nigerian law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Third-party links and services

The platform may link to or rely on third-party services (for example, a payment processor or a mapping provider). We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those third parties.
